La Mama, was born in San Gimignano in Italy in 1941. At the age of 19 she married her childhood sweetheart Alfredo, who worked as a car mechanic. After many years struggle they won the lottery and moved to a nearby village where they had their second daughter. La Mama, as she is known to everyone, is an accomplished painter and has had many exhibitions throughout Italy and France.
