Woods completed her 3-year drama studies at the D.I.T.College in Dublin,
before going on to the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in New York, where
she made her off-Broadway debut as Nys Malden in ‘Missing the Moon’.
She played ‘Miss Julie’, in Strindberg’s controversial masterpiece; Eleanor in ‘Ferryboat’, and Alice in Patrick Marber’s ‘Closer’; all LSTI Productions.
Her film credits include ‘Amongst Women’ for BBC; ‘David Copperfield’ for CBS; ‘Senses’ for Kickback Films, and most recently ‘The Adventures of George the Projectionist’.
