Spadina Bathurst was born in Toronto in 1980. Her father and mother are both city council sidewalk engineering workers – and their obsession with the city’s geographical intricacies led to rather unusual names being bestowed upon their offspring: Spadina has two sisters; Euclid and Primrose. After graduating from Film College in 2001, she has worked on several low budget films including ‘Constant Velocity Joint with Proactive Marmalade at Worting Junction’, and is currently going to an evening course in Japanese crochet.
